This follows Darbar’s Gawati account and Khamaj grouping. Darbar calls it close to Bheem, rather than identical. The core descent omits Ni, while lower Ni can lead back to Sa. Afternoon and evening traditions coexist; the browsing window is approximate. Notation: r/g/d/n = komal; m = shuddha Ma; M^ = tivra Ma; apostrophe = upper octave; comma = lower octave. These are phrase outlines, not complete performance grammar. These are introductory outlines; phrases, ornament and tradition give a raga its identity.
